Central Maine Healthcare’s unique affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston allows our physicians to access expert consultative services through a telemedicine neurology service.
Our Expertise
Telemedicine neurology uses streaming video to allow Massachusetts General to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with other neurological emergencies, including seizures or sudden paralysis.
Central Maine Healthcare’s emergency doctors can consult at any time with one of Mass General’s neurologists, if potential stroke patients or other neurological patients present in the Emergency Department. Our neurologists can also consult with Massachusetts General doctors to get a second opinion.
CMH’s exceptionally skilled team treats brain and spine disorders, including:

- Stroke (brain attack)
